The Palmolive Area

- Basalt Bouldering on the Beach
- Land of a Thousand V0's !
- Soft on Hands!

The Honeymoon Wall, at its highest spot, is about 16 feet. The top-outs are bomber. The rounded gravel is almost as good as a crash pad, so most landings are superb. The basalt rock is solid in most places, not sharp, and provides holds you would only expect in a gym.

This area was discovered by The Teth and Mr T. during a CNS Ice climbing excursion in the winter of 2002. If anyone bouldered here before that they kept it to themselves. The first problems were set on May 04, 2002.

Access the beach where the dirt road heading south from Baxters Harbour turns inland. Head left. Cross the small stream and you are practically there.

Note: The deck is below the high tide mark, but you need not worry about being trapped by the tide. Escape is easy, and there is a driveway only a short distance inland.
